• Entries must be received by the organizers on or before Friday 25th November 2011. Late Entries will be accepted after the above date but at an additional fee.
• Entry forms can be faxed to the numbers given or enter online www.capital-k.co.za or dropped off at Independant Newspapers, Kay Makan Stores in Pietermaritzburg & Durban and Braziers Mechanical in Pietermaritzburg. Entry forms can be posted to: Sunday Tribune Penguins Swimming Club, PO Box 101359, Scottsville, 3209.
• All categories are according to the age on the day of the event (3/4 December 2011)
• Any information not completed properly on the entry forms will result in exclusion from categories.
• Please note that a reduced entry tariff to the resort is applicable, Competitors are not exempt from paying.
• There is a R10 fee per person per day.
• Catering Facilities will be provided to the participants for the duration of the events. Please support the cause as the funds raised will go directly to the Honorary Officers KZN Wildlife.
• Confirmation of entries will be sited on this website
• All competitors must ensure their race numbers are written on their arm and leg at registration. Entrants must be present at prize giving to qualify for prizes.
• NO REFUNDS
• Registration takes place ONE HOUR before each event.
  Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three competitors in each age group.
• Towel may be ordered (for an additional fee) and paid together with your entry fee, and can be collected at registration. If you are unable to collect the Towel at registration for some reason, the onus is on the competitor to collect the Towel.
• SWIM CAPS TO ALL ENTRANTS

RULES

• No swimmer may have any assistance during the swim.
• No unofficial paddlers may be used to assist. Sunday Tribune Penguins Capital K Swim will be a SSA sanctioned event. The FINA event will be a qualifying event for SA National Championships & SSA National squad.

TIMING CHIP

• Chip Timing System to be used.
• Chip handed out to swimmer at registration.
• Medals will only be issued to competitors once their chip has been returned after the completion of the event.
• Failure to return the chip will result in a penalty.
